Fundamental to our professional growth are our relationships within FRA and through our valued affiliations with industry-leading organizations. For example, many are long-standing members of the American Institute of CPAs, the American Society of Appraisers, the CFA Institute, and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Our firm is also a member of the Financial Consulting Group.
These reputable organizations support continued learning for finance professionals, where our team regularly serves as both teachers and students. We also actively participate in conferences, seminars, and other events in the legal and financial industries.
AICPA
The American Institute of CPAs is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession, with 431,000+ members in 130 countries. The AICPA provides educational guidance materials, develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination, and monitors and enforces compliance within the profession. There are currently 669,000+ actively licensed CPAs around the globe.
ASA
The American Society of Appraisers is a multi-discipline, non-profit, international organization of professional appraisers representing all appraisal disciplines: Appraisal Review and Management, Business Valuation, Gems and Jewelry, Machinery and Technical Specialties, Personal Property, and Real Property. Our mission is to foster the public trust of our members and the appraisal profession through compliance with the highest ethical and professional standards.
CFA Institute
The CFA Institute is a global, not-for-profit professional organization that provides investment professionals with finance education. The institute aims to promote standards in ethics, education, and professional excellence in the global investment services industry. There are currently 202,000+ members worldwide.
FCG
The Financial Consulting Group is North America's largest organization of independently owned accounting, business valuation, and financial services firms. We offer our members the opportunity to expand and enhance their practices using the processes, tools, and educational and networking events developed by FCG.
FCG members are experienced, credentialed financial experts and leaders in the valuation profession. FCG members serve on the Business Valuation Committees of the AICPA and the ASA, participate in national business valuation conferences, serve as instructors, and write valuation books, articles, and newsletters.
FRICS
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a global professional body for those working in the Built Environment, Construction, Land, Property, and Real Estate. The RICS was founded in London in 1868. It works at a cross-governmental level and aims to promote and enforce the highest international standards in the valuation, management, and development of land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure.
Fellows, FRICS, is the highest accolade awarded and demonstrates the professional achievements of an individual. It is an honored class of membership awarded and an international measure of excellence.
